Gamepal
A downloadable project for Windows
Ever see those "For every game of ranked I lose, I do something productive" videos?
Gamepal is a desktop companion that sits in the corner of your screen while you play a game of league of legends, counter-strike, siege, etc - ranked or casual.
When the match ends, you tell Mochi (the cat) how it went. If you lose, it puts four options on the table for you to complete: read, study, work, or do some chores. Set a timer and off you go!
As you complete "tasks", you accumulate stars. These gold stars can be spent on things to reward yourself with, which you set up yourself. With these you can reward yourself anything you want IRL without feeling guilty about it, because you put in the work to earn it.
Key features:
- Turn tilt queue into a positive
- Set your own rewards, and redeem them once you've earned them
- Built to reduce the feeling of "spending guilt"
- Adopt a cute cat to hang out with
- Look back on your progress with monthly and all-time stats
